2023年12月22日，《Run High》的部分片段由用户pilo上传至WatZatSong。pilo称其在2004年录下了这首歌，这首歌在一个付费卫星频道播放过。

2024年6月19日23时52分左右，一名名为“SURFER123”的用户发表评论：
"ive done some searching on this song, and im pretty sure its not from america,where did you get this audio??".

2024年9月7日，pilo在Vocaroo上发布了更长的2分25秒片段，比之前的片段长了1分15秒。因为pilo在搜索陷入停滞时上传了更长的音频，很多人开始认为pilo在制造恶作剧，理由是pilo每次上传音频片段时都称其只拥有一段音频，之后却屡次推翻以前的说法，上传更长的版本。在对《Drive Me》（即”Stop Making Me Cry“）进行搜索时，也出现了类似的情况——pilo先后上传了3个不同的片段。

国外Lostwave圈知名用户q在同一天转发了这首歌，在评论区留言：
"They said that the 1 minute snippet was all they had but now they posted a longer sample the moment the search dries up? They did the same thing with Stop Making Me Cry too btw There is also another WZS account called pastelmoon that does nothing but solve pilo samples & was created the month they solve their first pilo sample. Because of all of this, I'm pretty sure pilo is a hoaxer, but the song is real. It's similar to Kerlo or Pace. Keep searching, but have caution with the sus OP."

2025年3月1日，用户TechnooiD发布了这首歌的23秒片段，而该片段的内容不存在于pilo此前上传的任何片段中。TechnooiD暗示这首歌的曲名就在其上传的23秒片段中。TechnooiD知道这首歌的曲名，但对此保密，直到有其他人找到正确答案为止。3个小时后，用户Antwan965确定这首歌是美国音乐人J.的《Rise & Fall》。J.来自美国纽约布鲁克林，现已不再活跃于音乐界。
琐事
2024年9月14日，由于一些用户在评论区胡言乱语，Run High的原始 WatZatSong帖子被删除了。几个小时后，原始帖子被恢复。
